1. How to use one
The code is entered in the cart, before checkout. The discount is shown in detail on the review screen — you see the exact amount before you confirm anything.
One code per order. Two codes cannot be combined with each other.
2. What it applies to
The discount is calculated on the value of the products. It does not apply to shipping, the cash-on-delivery fee or any other shipping surcharge.
A code is either a percentage or a fixed amount. It never exceeds the value of the order: it cannot be redeemed for cash and leaves no balance for next time.
3. Recurring orders
The two discounts do different jobs. The plan gives a permanent reduction — it applies to every delivery, for the whole duration. The code is a one-time offer. That is why it does not repeat every month: if it did, it would not be an offer but a second permanent discount.
The following rules follow from this:
- The code applies to one instalment. A -20% code on a twelve-month plan is not deducted twelve times — only on the first delivery.
- It is always calculated on the original price of the products — before any other discount, whether that is a product offer, a general store offer, or a plan discount. A product that is already on offer does not reduce the value of your code: the code works on the list price and is deducted from what you pay.
- The code combines with the active offer; it does not replace it. The offer is applied first, then the code is deducted.
- One code per order. Two codes cannot be combined with each other — the one that has been entered applies.
- The discount does not exceed the amount payable. If the code is worth more than what is owed, the total becomes zero; no balance is carried over to a later order.
- The deposit is not discounted. The first payment is double — one instalment plus one as a deposit. The deposit is an amount that is held, not goods that are bought, and it is calculated as a full instalment.
Example: cart 160 €, 6-month plan (-10%), code -20%. The code’s discount is 20% of 160 € = 32 €. Regular instalment 144 €, first instalment 112 €, deposit 144 €. First payment 256 €, total 832 €.
4. When it is “spent”
The code is committed at the moment you submit the order, not when you type it in. You can view the breakdown, go back and change your mind without losing it.
If an order that used a single-use code is cancelled, the code is not returned automatically. Write to us and we will release it.
5. Restrictions per code
A code may have:
- A minimum order value. Below it, the code does not apply. What counts is the original value of the cart, the same value on which the discount is calculated — so that an offer does not shut you out of your code.
- An expiry date. It is valid up to and including the expiry date.
- A usage limit. Some are single-use — the first person to use it uses it up — and others are general-use, with no limit.
The restrictions are announced together with the code. If a code is not accepted, the review screen says so and the order goes ahead normally without it — an order is not lost because a code was not valid.
6. Misuse
Codes intended for a specific recipient are not transferable. We reserve the right to deactivate a code that is circulated publicly when it was given personally.
