IGF-1 LR3

IGF-1 LR3

Minimum order 2 vials or 2 pens — delivery in 2 weeks
IGF-1 with 13 extra amino acids and one substitution, so the binding proteins DON'T grab it. In the only chronic-infusion study, the internal organs grew — not the body.

Category V — Growth Hormone 🧮 Reconstitution calculator €86 – €106 from €68.80 to €84.80

IGF-1 in your blood circulates bound to binding proteins (IGFBPs), which regulate how much reaches its receptor.

LR3 is IGF-1 with a 13-amino-acid extension and one substitution, giving it much lower affinity for the IGFBPs — while keeping its ability to bind the type I receptor 1.

It's mainly used in cell culture, for example to grow myoblasts in a dish 1 — it's one of the most common lab reagents.

In guinea pigs, seven days of continuous infusion increased the relative weight of the adrenals, gut, kidneys and spleen — but not overall growth 2. At the same time, plasma concentrations of IGF-1, IGF-2 and binding proteins fell 2.

There's no randomized human study for muscle mass or anything else — what exists is protein chemistry 3, cells 1 and animals 2.

A protein with disulfide bonds, the most fragile molecule in the catalog: swirl never shake, cold and dark, for research use.

IGF-1 is naturally held back by binding proteins in your blood — like a brake that regulates how much gets to where it's needed.

LR3 was designed to slip that brake: a small extension to the molecule cuts its affinity for the binding proteins while keeping its connection to the receptor 1.

It's one of the most widely used tools in cell culture — it helps cells multiply in a dish 1, a quiet but real contribution to research.

And the honesty it deserves: in an animal model, organs like the adrenals and gut grew, but overall growth didn't 2 — not the picture you have in mind for “muscle.”

There's no human study yet confirming it for anything specific 123 — we're telling you before you buy, not after.

For research use, the most delicate molecule here: swirl never shake, always cold and dark.

A molecule designed to slip its own brake.

In your blood, IGF-1 doesn't circulate freely: it's held by binding proteins (IGFBPs), which regulate how much reaches the receptor. LR3 is IGF-1 with a 13-amino-acid extension at one end and one substitution at position 3. The result, in the literature's own words: an analogue with very low affinity for the IGFBPs that still retains the ability to bind the type I receptor 1. No brake, accelerator intact.

Where it's actually used. In cell culture. The study that description comes from uses it exactly that way: to grow myoblasts in a dish 1. It's one of the most common lab reagents in the world.

And now the finding worth reading twice. In guinea pigs, 7 days of continuous infusion of LR3 IGF-1. The relative weight of the adrenals, gut, kidneys and spleen rose significantly — but overall growth was not stimulated 2. And at the same time, plasma concentrations of IGF-1, IGF-2 and binding proteins fell 2.

We spell it out because this molecule is bought for muscle. The study didn't show muscle. It showed internal organs.

What's missing. There's no randomized human study of LR3 — not for muscle mass, not for anything else. What exists is protein chemistry 3, cells in a dish 1 and animals 2.
